TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Names New Executive Director

Effective August 1, 2025, Liz Loreti, CFRE, MA, became the Executive Director of TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation (myturningpoint.org), a unique breast cancer nonprofit focused on providing essential survivorship services for breast cancer patients of all backgrounds for nearly 22 years.

“We are thrilled to welcome Liz as the new Executive Director of TurningPoint as she brings a wealth of nonprofit experience and will be an immediate asset,” said Kathy Smith, TurningPoint’s Board Chair and co-founder of TurningPoint’s signature annual gala The Pink Affair.  “Liz brings a diverse skillset working in key positions with influential nonprofits over the past decade as well as the metro Atlanta community as a whole.”

Previously, Loreti held the positions of Chief Development Officer with the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Director of Corporate Relations with Camp Twin Lakes, Director of Development with 21st Century Leaders, and Assistant Director of Development with the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. She currently serves as president of the Association for Fundraising Professionals – Atlanta chapter and is a longtime member of the Junior League.

“One in eight women are at risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer, and yet there are not ample services out there to support these inspiring patients bravely fighting for their lives,” said Loreti. “TurningPoint is a critical lifeline, and I look forward to building awareness and continuing its growth as the premier resource for breast cancer patients following their diagnosis, treatments and any surgeries they may experience.”
