Perimeter’s Path to Atlanta’s Most Livable, Accessible District

Since 2023, 26% more of Perimeter residents have found it easier to get around the Perimeter district. 6% of workers have chosen to go back to their office more often than teleworking. But how are workers getting to the district? What brought them back from home offices? Why did residents choose to live here? Read the insights from Perimeter Connects’ 2025 survey to see what’s moving the neighborhood.

How everyone’s getting here

With the dip in working from home comes a slight increase in single-occupant vehicles on their way to Perimeter—about 2% more than in 2023. However, train commutes have also doubled in that time, going from 3% of recorded trips to 6%. More offices opening near transit stations, like Campus 244 and High Street, have encouraged more employees to use public transport. Perimeter’s commuter shuttles from MARTA to Ravinia, Terraces, Perimeter Summit, and more connect our three transit stations to worksites across the district, making the option accessible to more commuters.

Among single drivers, commute times remain a pain point: the average length of morning commutes rose to 42 minutes from 2023’s average of 40, and afternoon commutes shot up from 47 minutes in 2023 to 53 minutes in 2025.
