Decide DeKalb Launches Small Business Loan & Technical Assistance Program to Support Local Growth

The Decide DeKalb Development Authority is expanding opportunities for local entrepreneurs through its Small Business Revolving Loan Fund and Technical Assistance program. Designed to strengthen small businesses across DeKalb County, the initiative provides both access to capital and practical business support to help companies grow, hire, and contribute to stronger local communities.

Through the program, eligible businesses may receive loans ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 with 5–7 year terms and a maximum interest rate of 5 percent. The funding can be used for a range of business needs, including working capital, leasehold improvements, and other operational investments that help businesses expand and thrive.

In addition to funding, participating businesses will benefit from training programs, business coaching, and wrap-around support services designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and guidance needed to succeed. By pairing capital with strategic support, Decide DeKalb aims to create long-term impact for small businesses and the communities they serve.
