Community Assistance Center launches fundraising campaign
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — While the Community Assistance Center’s Sept. 20 Broadway Lighs Gala raised $480,000, the nonprofit announced a loftier goal in the form of its three-year Compassion in Action campaign.
With a goal of raising $18 million, the campaign will address growing community needs while expanding the Community Assistance Center’s programs and operational capacity.
Including proceeds from the gala, the Central Perimeter nonprofit says $3 million has already been committed toward the effort.
The Community Assistance Center takes a holistic approach to preventing hunger and homelessness while empowering families to achieve financial stability in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs.
