The Community Assistance Center (CAC) invites you to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of its new Empowerment Center on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 4 p.m. The event will take place at 1130 Hightower Trail in Sandy Springs. A trusted community resource since 1987, CAC helps prevent hunger and homelessness and empowers people to thrive. The new Empowerment Center will transform the way CAC serves individuals and families across the northern Perimeter area, offering a range of programs designed to help participants achieve long-term financial success. The Center serves as a dynamic community hub providing adult education, career services and workforce development programs. During the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening celebration, guests will have the opportunity to: • Tour the newly designed, state-of-the-art Empowerment Center • Hear from CAC leadership about the transformational impact the Center will have on the lives of individuals and families in our community • Learn about THRIVE, the Empowerment Center’s innovative pilot program that breaks down barriers to opportunity and empowers individuals to achieve financial independence and economic mobility.
