Keynote Presentation - Chuck Holland, Vice President of Industrial Engineering at UPS
The keynote presentation will focus on the UPS Package Car Fleet innovation and specifically on the new Orion platform (route optimization technology). In addition, Mr. Holland will provide an overview /highlights of other intelligent transport technologies within the UPS company such as the package car fleet feeder network and platooning.
As Vice President of Industrial Engineering for UPS, Chuck is responsible for defining and executing a vision for the optimization of UPS' operations. Chuck's portfolio does process reengineering, determines system needs, performs systems engineering, and provides Operations Research support. UPS is the World's largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain services. Under Chuck's direction, UPS has deployed new systems and processes resulting in significant cost and service improvements.
