About Us
Edison Prep is a local SAT/ACT tutoring firm headquartered in Sandy Springs, GA. Since 2010, co-founders Brian and Silvia Eufinger and their small tutoring team have helped over 25,000 students to improve their test scores to get into more selective colleges, increase scholarship money awarded, or both! The team has grown to 20 tutors with a combined 170,000 hours of experience: the most experienced tutors in the Southeast.
Most firms employ college students with little experience. Edison Prep pays its tutors -- college graduates, many with grad degrees and K-12 teaching experience -- 250%+ what other firms pay, which increases the caliber of tutor with whom students work.
Edison Prep authored its own custom curriculum and SAT/ACT books that all students use, and teaches over a dozen on-site classes at partner schools each year. Finally, Edison Prep gives back: we are a frequent speaker at national education conferences, podcasts, high school PTSA meetings, and more.
