About Us
CAC is the largest human services organization in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody. CAC is supported by more than 400 dedicated monthly volunteers and a strong network of community, corporate and congregational partners. A trusted community resource since 1987, the organization plays a critical role in community stability and offers a unique platform that enables neighbors to actively help neighbors in need.
CAC’s holistic approach helps prevent hunger and homelessness and provides the tools and opportunities to help individuals and families reach financial stability and thrive. Client programs include basic needs assistance (food, clothing and financial assistance), youth programs, adult education, career assistance services and free tax assistance services. In 2024, CAC assisted nearly 10,000 individuals, distributed approximately one million pounds of food and helped prevent 1,030 evictions. Learn more about our services at www.ourcac.org.
