Development Director, Partners & Investors

Position Overview:
The Development Director, Partners & Investors, works strategically with businesses across the region to help them grow their business and their network by engaging them as new members. The compensation offers a base/commission structure. We seek a generous and entrepreneurial minded individual to collaborate with colleagues, current members, and partners to ensure that the Greater Perimeter Chamber experience is remarkable and growth oriented.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities center around growing the Greater Perimeter Chamber’s membership base through the acquisition of new companies to the organization, along with selling program and event sponsorships through various marketing and referral programs. This is a very visible role within the Chamber and the community that reports directly to the Chamber President/CEO.
 
Job Duties:

  • Recruit, onboard, serve new members, and activate new sponsors
  • Connect and build rapport with key decision-makers to make high-volume sales calls
  • Multi-task job responsibilities on a consistent basis
  • Attend Chamber events before, during, and after typical office hours
 
Job Requirements:
  • Solid organization skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Skilled in persuasive communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work in office and in the community under generously flexible conditions
  • Capable of communicating and collaborating effectively on a small team
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative
