Associate Sales Consultant
A Brief Overview

As an Associate Sales Consultant, you'll join a dynamic team gaining hands-on experience by supporting our expert Sales Consultants with strategic initiatives. You will master the art of navigating intricate, consultative sales processes and forging strong relationships with clients and partners. This exciting entry-level role is your gateway to comprehensive training and a promising future in sales.
What you will do
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of TriNet’s products and services that support the SMB industry.
- Assist Sales Consultants with sales preparation activities, including performing account research, updating Salesforce CRM, and tailoring presentations and proposals.
- Attend sales meetings and engage with prospects and partners via phone, email, video calls, or in person. Use Outlook and Teams to send follow-up emails and schedule meetings.
- Support lead generation and prospecting by researching potential accounts, identifying decision-makers, and compiling prospecting lists.
- Leverage essential sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, and Highspot to effectively support the sales teams.
- Engage in professional development workshops, sales training sessions, and mentorship programs to enhance foundational skills in sales and business acumen.
- Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed promptly and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Consistently reflect TriNet's core values in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Be open to relocation for future field sales roles.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience Qualifications
- Open to candidates of all experience levels, including recent college graduates.
- Prior internship, sales, customer-facing, or business experience is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to establish trust, credibility, and rapport with others.
- Strong skills in data-gathering, research, and analysis to support sales strategies.
- Outstanding time management, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce.com and other sales tools is advantageous.

Work Environment
This is an in-office position with 6 days hybrid flexibility per month. Your work environment should be clean, pleasant, and comfortable whether in the office or in a home setting. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable persons with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $28.85 to $38.46. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
