Senior Paid Media Manager
Marketwake is seeking a Senior Paid Media Manager to lead day-to-day management and optimization of Paid Media campaigns across Search and Social platforms. This role is perfect for someone who loves being “hands on keys,” thrives in the details of campaign execution, and can also think strategically about how to scale client performance.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other paid platforms, with the ability to create, optimize, and report on campaigns that deliver measurable results. While senior in skill set and responsibility, this role is not purely strategic—you’ll be directly managing campaigns, budgets, and performance across multiple clients.
This position reports to the Media Director and collaborates closely with Account Management, Creative, and Analytics teams to execute integrated, results-driven campaigns.
Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Optimization
-Manage end-to-end Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, 6Sense and emerging platforms.
-Handle daily campaign execution including bidding, targeting, ad creation, and performance optimizations.
-Build campaigns with strong structure, accurate tracking, and performance-focused creative testing.
-Monitor budgets, pacing, and key performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates) to ensure campaigns meet or exceed goals.
Strategic Input & Planning
-Develop media plans and forecasts aligned with client goals and funnel strategies.
-Analyze data to identify trends and actionable insights for improving campaign performance.
-Recommend strategies for scaling accounts, improving ROI, and optimizing cross-channel performance.
Collaboration & Reporting
-Partner with Account Managers to align media efforts with client objectives and broader marketing strategies.
-Work closely with the Creative team to guide ad concepts and test variations for improved performance.
-Build and present performance reports with clear insights, next steps, and recommendations.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
-Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and paid media best practices.
-Explore beta opportunities, new tools, and evolving strategies to improve client results.
-Share learnings and process improvements with the Paid Media team to help elevate overall performance.

Skills
-Advanced proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads
-Strong understanding of cross-channel paid strategies
-Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and GTM
-Comfortable with forecasting, budget management, and campaign pacing
-Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for reporting and performance analysis
-Knowledge of conversion tracking, pixels, and attribution best practices
Qualifications
-3–5 years of hands-on Paid Media experience across both Search and Social
-Agency or multi-client experience strongly preferred
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred, not required)
-Paid Media certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, etc.) are a plus
