Marketing Coordinator (Independent Contractor)

Location: Hybrid | Sandy Springs, Dunwoody & Brookhaven, GA
Commitment: 25–30 hours/month | 6-month contract with potential for renewal

Do you love creating eye-catching content, building brands, and making a real impact in your community? Leadership Perimeter is looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Marketing Coordinator to help share our mission of developing informed, connected, and engaged leaders across the Perimeter region.

In this dynamic role, you'll be the creative force behind our marketing efforts - designing graphics, managing social media, creating compelling content, capturing photos and videos at programs, updating our website, and bringing our story to life through every channel. If you're equal parts storyteller, designer, and community champion, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do:

  • Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, the website, and digital communications.
  • Design graphics, presentations, flyers, signage, and promotional materials using Canva and Constant Contact.
  • Grow Leadership Perimeter's online presence through strategic social media campaigns.
  • Capture photos, videos, testimonials, and success stories from our leadership programs.
  • Support participant recruitment for our Flagship and Youth Leadership programs.
  • Maintain our website, marketing calendar, CRM, and brand standards.
  • Track marketing performance and provide monthly reports.
  • Collaborate with our Executive Director and staff to promote programs and events that strengthen our community.

What We're Looking For:

  • A creative communicator with strong writing and graphic design skills.
  • Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, social media platforms, and website management.
  • Someone who is organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
  • A passion for nonprofit work, leadership development, and community engagement.

Position Details:

  • Independent Contractor (1099) position
  • 25–30 hours per month
  • Six-month contract with opportunity for renewal
  • Hybrid schedule with approximately 3 in-person program days and 2 staff meetings each month
  • Reports directly to the Executive Director
  • Contractor provides their own equipment and is responsible for taxes
