Our Lead Barista focuses on providing an exceptional experience for our cafe customers through the creation of incredible drinks, impactful café experiences and providing consistent leadership to the café team.

 

The Lead Barista position is responsible for partnering with the Café Leader to lead team members and the cafe in an efficient and profitable manner. This includes but is not limited to: day to day store operations, quality control, fostering a positive community environment and ensuring consistent quick service with a focus on hospitality.

 

Requirements

• One year or more of coffee experience.

• A dedicated and supportive team player, flexible, accommodating, doing what it takes to help others succeed.

• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.

• Approachable, diligent and willing to work with others.

• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and desire to accomplish any task.

• Must have strong organization skills and time management skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for 4 or more hours.

• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.

• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and service.

• Have a base line knowledge of coffee processes and café operations

 

Job Description

• Assists in leading the cafe customer experience. Ensuring all customers receive excellence in

both products and services.

• Cultivate a cafe environment that is inviting, clean, and mirrors the Lucky Goat Coffee brand

image.

• Partner with the Café Leader to drive company promotions and events for cafe staff and

customer base.

• Oversee cash handling and loss prevention processes including being able to perform all POS

duties and maintain status of key carrier.

• Maintain high-quality standards of food and beverage preparation in accordance with Food

Safety regulations.

• Perform espresso drink making and latte art creation duties for the café team.

• Assists the Café Leader in providing daily, consistent leadership to both opening and closing

teams. Ensuring that cafes are always ready to meet the needs of their customers.
