Substitute Teacher

Cumberland Academy of Georgia specializes in the needs of children with high functioning Autism, Asperger’s, ADD, ADHD and other learning differences.  Located in Sandy Springs, the mission of the academy is to provide a safe, supportive, educational environment in partnership with faculty, staff, students and parents.  The Cumberland family embraces the uniqueness of every child by challenging and inspiring them to reach their full potential.  

The Substitute teacher will supervise students and deliver the instructional lessons that have been left by the absent teacher. We are seeking a substitute teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. The job description is below:

• Supervise students for the school day from 8am until 3:15pm

• Deliver instructional lessons created by the absent teacher

• Monitor students in non-instructional settings (i.e. recess, lunch, etc.)

• Provide feedback for absent teacher

• Perform other duties as assigned
