The City of Sandy Springs is seeking a Rental Event Manager to lead the charge in planning and executing dynamic rental events at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and throughout the City Springs campus.

As the Rental Event Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for all rental clients—from initial inquiry to final invoice. You’ll coordinate event logistics across multiple venues, including the Byers Theatre, Studio Theatre, Conference Center, City Green, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead project manager for rental events across City Springs venues
• Create detailed event layouts and logistical plans using event management software
• Collaborate with clients to identify event needs and maximize experience and revenue
• Draft contracts and track billing, invoicing, and financial settlements
• Manage logistics for A/V, catering, labor, and equipment, ensuring every detail is on point
• Coordinate with internal departments to execute seamless events
• Oversee on-site operations and serve as Manager on Duty during assigned events
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and service providers
• Support the Director of Events & Sales with event planning, sales strategy, and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a performing arts center, convention center, or similar setting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, training and experience that demonstrate the necessary skills and abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with laser-sharp attention to detail
• Confident communicator with top-tier customer service instincts
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules demand
• Proficient with event management systems, Microsoft Office, and floorplan design tools
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with good driving record required
