“The 14th Annual Run the River 5K/10K continues to be one of the premier spring running events in metro Atlanta. A combination of the Course and the Cause has resulted in sell-out crowds. It’s a destination event for many local runners and walkers who return year after year,” said Run the River Event Director Steve Buck.
The annual family-friendly and pet-friendly event had more than 1,000 participants and 100 volunteers. This year features an awards ceremony, a post-race runner’s buffet, the return of MEE MEE the Clown and music provided by progressive bluegrass band Twisted Timber.
