GCIC Specialist
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the GCIC TAC, this individual provides GCIC data entry, clerical, and records maintenance support. In compliance with applicable GCIC regulations, enters data including stolen or lost property, vehicles, missing person, guns and active City and State warrants into the GCIC/NCIC system. In addition to entries, GCIC specialists also perform monthly validations. This is a highly sensitive position and conforms to the requirements overseen by the GBI/FBI.
