SPEAKER
Dr. Clarissa J. Sparks, MBA is the founder of She Sparks, a brand strategy and digital design consultancy, she serves as an advocate for inclusive entrepreneurship. Working alongside startups, small businesses, governments, corporations, higher education institutions, foundations, and community builders to connect women, minority, and other underrepresented entrepreneurs to the resources, mentors, and partners needed to spark their growth. Using the SPARKS Brand Method, she has helped over 6,000 women entrepreneurs in gaining clarity on who they are, what they do, and how they can brand, market, and grow their businesses.
Dr. Sparks is a Cornell University Course Facilitator for the Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship. She serves as a Board of Trustee and Communications Director for Leadership Perimeter, a Board of Director for the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, the VP of Marketing and Communications for the Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education. 2023 Forbes ‘Leadership’ Contributor, 2023 Black Ambition Pitch Evaluator, Verizon Micro Mentor, Other honors include: 2022 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., South Atlantic Region Entrepreneur of the Year, 2017 Small Business Association (SBA) InnovateHer Reginal Award. Clarissa enjoys domestic & international travel, hosting, and entertaining family and friends.
