Small businesses in Georgia face a number of risks and concerns when they try to use restrictive covenants to limit competition, solicitation of their clients and employees, or to protect their confidential information. Given recent changes in the law on these issues, restrictive covenants in Georgia are often misunderstood, leading to confusion for business owners, entrepreneurs and other professionals. This seminar will discuss basic principles of restrictive covenants that small businesses should be aware about and will also offer various practical ideas to help Georgia businesses make appropriate decisions.
Aaron Chausmer is a sole practitioner in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area. His practice focuses on providing small business with general counsel and representing them in court, if needed.
