DESCRIPTION:The Brain Tumor Foundation for Children's 1st Annual Tumor Trooper Run/Walk (William's Walk & Run since 1999) will take place on Saturday\, September 8\, 2012 in Alpharetta\, GA\, near North Point Mall. This fun-filled morning will include a 5K Run and 1-mile Walk.\n\n\n\nThis year our goal is to raise $200\,000. Proceeds will be split - 50% toward Programs & Services and 50% toward research.\n\n\n\nSince 1983\, the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children (BTFC) has assisted countless children and families through social\, emotional\, informational\, and financial support. BTFC also supports technological advances and research to ensure that this disease does not continue devastating the lives of thousands of families each year.
