DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual "Sandy's" Award Gala is a '50s "sock hop" themed event with a black-tie optional dress code. Wear your black tie\, or bust out your poodle skirt! The evening consists of a cocktail hour followed by a gourmet dinner and awards program. Awards (Sandy's) for Small Business of the Year\, Restaurant of the Year\, and Community Volunteer of the year will be presented.\n\n\n\nThe SSPC Gala will be benefiting the Donna Adams Mahaffey Scholarship Fund. In 2015\, the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber Board had a remarkable vision to create the Donna Adams Mahaffey Scholarship Fund. The Chamber expands educational opportunity to higher-education by providing scholarships to upcoming female high school graduates in the city of Sandy Springs. These scholarships instill children with the concept that regardless of their financial situation\, they too can receive a higher education. \n\n\n\nThe 5th Annual SSPC Gala will be held at Sherwood Event Hall. The MC will be Maggie Taylor of Act3 Productions\, and the dinner will be provided by Avenue Catering Concepts.
