SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting: Early Autism Project
DESCRIPTION:Senator John Albers and members of the Atlanta community will join Early Autism Project for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of EAP's new state-of-the-art Atlanta Clinic. In 2015\, Senator Bethel and Senator Albers played key roles in the passing of Ava's Law which made Georgia the 41st state to mandate insurance for children six years and younger with autism. The opening of the Early Autism Project clinic is possible due to the insurance coverage provided by Ava's Law. \n\n\n\nThe clinic provides children between the ages of 20 months and 21 years with the highest quality intensive\, research-based behavioral treatment for autism spectrum and related disorders. Early Autism Project is one of the nation's leading providers of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy\, which is widely recognized as the most effective\, evidence-based treatment for autism and is endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General and American Academy of Pediatrics as the treatment of choice for autism.
