Walters joined Weather from Bloomberg L.P. where he was the COO of the Bloomberg Industry Verticals Group. In this role\, Walters oversees Weather's technology\, finance\, legal and human resources teams.\n\n    As COO of the Bloomberg Industry Vertical Group\, Walters was responsible for operations\, strategy\, business development and expansion of the premium web-based subscription businesses.  Walters joined Bloomberg in 2008 as head of news and multimedia strategy\, focusing on the future growth and strategic direction for the company's collection of media properties across TV\, online\, mobile and syndication. In that role he worked on the evaluation and completion of numerous partnerships\, including UTV in India\, and acquisition opportunities such as Business Week.\n\n    Walters is based at The Weather Channel headquarters in Atlanta.
