DESCRIPTION:Sandy Springs Education Force (SSEF)\, the city's leading education-centered 501(c)(3)\, invites you to the 6th Annual Footprints for the Future 10K/5K Road Race on October 26\, 2019. Proceeds support SSEF's targeted literacy programs that educate\, inspire and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world.\n\n\n\nBoth races are held on USTAF-certified race courses and are certified AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifiers. Race registration includes a t-shirt and a SWAG bag of giveaways from sponsors and community supporters. There will be awards for all age categories 1st through 3rd and special Overall and Masters awards.\n\n\n\nRunners are encouraged to create teams (special pricing applies) and may also create individual fundraisers to support SSEF. To guarantee each 10K/5K race participant a t-shirt\, registration and payment must be received by October 2. Register by 9/19 for the best rate!\n\n\n\nAt City Springs Green after the races\, the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber's Health & Well-Being Council will present a free Fall Fun Health Fest\, including interactive demonstrations and activities. Kids and adults will enjoy DJ entertainment\, light bites and giveaways from sponsors and a 1K family fun run ($5 donation per family). The Heritage Sandy Springs Farmer's Market will also be on site.\n\n\n\nThe races and Health Fest will be held on October 26 at City Springs Green\, 1 Galambos Way\, Sandy Springs. The 5K and 10K begin at 7:45 am. The Health Fest kicks off at 9:30 am.
