DESCRIPTION:The Sandy Springs-based nonprofit TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation will host its 24th Annual Pink Affair\, Saturday\, March 22nd\, at the Georgia Aquarium 6-10 p.m. The event is the signature fundraising gala for TurningPoint and raises critical funding for the nonprofit's financial assistance program so that no patient is ever denied essential survivorship services due to inadequate insurance coverage or financial resources. The evening features silent and live auctions\, seated dinner\, live music and dancing as well as a short program. The emcee this year will be longtime WSB-TV anchor and breast cancer survivor Wendy Corona\, and George Franco\, formerly a reporter with Fox 5 Atlanta\, will serve as our auctioneer.
